How to choose a road bike tire: 

  1. Are you in a race or TT?  If no, go to #2.  (If yes, open your wallet and choose by weight and rolling resistance); 
  2. Find all the tires from your favorite seller; 
  3. Sort by Kevlar (vs. not Kevlar); 
  4. Eliminate all the tires without Kevlar; 
  5. Choose what you can afford;
  6. Ride "naked*" with confidence!.  

* No spare tube, pump, tire levers or CO2 cartridges.

Nr. 7 Check out, which tire is tubeless ready - I would go for tubeless option.
