Administrators SickBiker Posted December 3, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 3, 2018 If your rear derailleur is squeaking, and it's not about the dry chain, make sure you follow the steps from my video tutorial. I am servicing here the Shimano Sora RD-R3000 rear mech and this will work at least for the Claris and Tiagra, which don't have any bearings in the pulleys, but just bushings. Here are some pictures from the tutorial. The reason of the squeaking was the upper, guide pulley and I needed to put A LOT of grease on its bushing, so that it would finally stop.
